Customers may currently be experiencing delays with the actioning of any changes made to mail accounts via the control panel including the creation of new mailboxes, mailbox upgrades and password changes. Our engineers are investigating this as a priority and we apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Update: The root cause of this issue has been identified and addressed but the problem will not be fully resolved until the backlog of changes have cleared. We thank you for your continued patience. Update - 27/01/2012 10:20 - The initially attempted fix did not have the desired result so this issue is still present and being investigated as a priority by our engineers. At 22:30 hours tonight we will be conducting emergency maintenance to our email platform to try and resolve the problems that customers have experienced over the course of today. The change will take the platform down for approximately 20 mins during which time you will be unable to send or receive email to your inbox. Sitebuilder shares elements with this platform and also be unavailable during the emergency maintenance.
We do not anticipate any loss of email as a result of this work. We appreciate your patience and understanding and are very sorry for any inconvenience this further disruption to our service may cause you or your end users. Status of this entry is Closed |
